She was born in Manila, Philippines and attended St. Theresa's College in Quezon City. She came to Hawaii at 23 yrs. of age where her first job was sales and warehouse help with an import/export business owned by her brother. She helped unload 40 ft. containers and delivered goods around the island. Years later, became an importer/wholesaler, focusing on manufacturing with Puamana Shells and Sea Gems.
In 1989, she got her Real Estate license; in 1996, became a Real Estate Broker and the Owner of LTH Realty. After a brief stint with Abe Lee Realty, she became the Owner and Principal Broker of Aloha Land Realty.
While in the Manila, she was always involved in the Performing Arts but was also setting her sights on a career in the trendy world of Fashion Design. Just when she passed the auditions to be a part of a significant Cultural Dance Troup, there was a twist in her life. At 19, Liza started a family, raised 3 children, and now has 3 grandchildren.
Before reaching the age of 50, she decided to form a company named Women of our World, Inc. [W.o.o.W.]. In its premier event, Liza will put on her dancing shoes and she will put on her Fashion Designer's hat. Together with the other Women who would dare to live their dreams, Hawaii Convention Center will Rock!!!
The purpose of W.o.o.W. is to: Produce Literary and Cultural Events and Exhibits, Assist with Albums, CDs amd DVDs and to Create Avenues for the Artistic Talents of Women whose dreams and passions were placed on hold for other priorities.
The other purpose is to jumpstart the long awaited foundation, Joshua's Continuing Education Foundation [J.C.E.F.], which will fund the continuing education of adults with special needs like her son, Joshua and other individuals who fell through the cracks of the educational system.
The Net Proceeds of Our Silent Auction is going to the "Food 4 Keiki" of the Hawaii Food Bank.
Her husband, Byron, her 2 other children, Justin (Composer/SAG Actor) and Kristian Lei (Inspirational Recording Artist/Composer) and the rest of her family, fully support this endeavor. Now she can devote some of her time to Highlighting, Upholding, and Enhancing a vital part of our world...Talented Women who are full of Love, Devotion, and Sacrifice. Furthermore, together with the growth of this company, the aim is to benefit other Female Organizations and to motivate children and family members to pursue their dreams.
